Assam: ABSU organized Special Orientation Program for UPSC, APSC Civil Services

The special orientation program was made open for the interested candidates through Google Form registration, where 1447 have registered and attended at 6 locations.

GUWAHATI- The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has organized Special Orientation Program for the UPSC, APSC Civil Services and Indian Forest Service examination. The program got started from 25th June at Kokrajhar for 6 days at 6 different locations. 26th Bijni, 27th Nikashi, 28th Udalguri, 29th Tezpur and finally at Guwahati on 30th June 2022, informed Kwrwmdao Wary, Vice President, ABSU

The special orientation program was made open for the interested candidates through Google Form registration, where 1447 have registered and attended at 6 locations, said Wary.

He said that “The objective of organizing such a orientation program is to create better awareness level amongst the civil services aspirants, moreover to enlighten the candidates to strive for such services though belonging from diverse socio-economic-educational background irrespective of any medium of education. Especially targeted the Bodo medium who are unable to get the basic concepts to prepare for civil services”.

All throughout the 6 days orientation program the special invited guest Mr. Jitender Kumar Bhardwaj, Director of BEACON IAS had delivered regarding understanding the UPSC and Civil Services Examinaton and with the preparation tips and guiding the basic concept to prepare for the CSE. He also elaborately interacted with candidates to understand more on the queries placed by aspirants.

In these six days many serving civil servants IAS, IPS, ACS and APS have supported the orientation program by sharing their experiences and providing useful information to cracking the civil services exam.

The last day at Guwahati has indeed culminated with the presence of  Hiren Nath, IPS, ADGP (SB) Assam Police. He being from the vernacular Assamese medium rural school has encouraged candidates to dedicate themselves with Hard Work to crack civil services examination.

Gather clear knowledge by reading the text books that will provide complete concept clearance about subject as well as to be thoroughly garner knowledge command about the subjects that one has to prepare for civil services. Reading daily newspapers and competitive journals everyday to update the general knowledge and current affairs.

The All Bodo Students Union will continuously conduct such civil services orientation program in future and inculcate more ideas and knowledge how to prepare and crack the civil services examination. The preparation support will be organized through residential special coaching to aspirants will be conducted by ABSU, to provide better environment for preparation of civil services examination.
