Assam: NCC Girls cadets educating villagers about AROGYA SETU

12 girl cadets went from door to door in Kamarbandha rural areas to create awareness about the app and various Dos and Don’ts against Corona.

Guwahati-  With cases of Corona infections on the rise in Assam in general and Golaghat in particular, the NCC Cadets of 74 Assam Girls Golaghat ( part of NCC Group Jorhat) undertook the challenge of educating villagers about the advantages of AROGYA SETU app in fighting and safeguarding against COVID-19.

Led by Under Officer Bristi Priya Das and 12 girl cadets went from door to door in Kamarbandha rural areas to create awareness about the app and various Dos and Don’ts against Corona.

The drive was well appreciated by the residents. Col SK Mishra, the Commanding Officer 74 Assam NCC Golaghat informed us that in the coming days such awareness drives would intensified in and around Golaghat town to stop the terrifying spread of COVID-19 in Golaghat Distt.

He also hinted that social media platforms would be used extensively in near future to launch a variety of campaigns to combat the scourge of Corona.
