The medical teams and personnel of Assam Rifles have been operating continuously in the flood affected areas of Barak valley of Assam and in Tripura.

Around 700 people were treated at the medical camp and given free medicines. Local MLA Nizamuddin Choudhury visited the medical camp and appreciated the efforts taken by the Assam Rifles. He also requested the Assam Rifles to organise more such camps in other affected areas of Hailakandi district.

The flood-hit people appreciated the noble endeavour of the Assam Rifles and expressed their gratitude for the help and assistance rendered to them at the time of distress.
