Fight against Coronavirus: KCC Contributes over Rs 61 lakhs to CMRF and ANF

The whole world is fighting against the COVID-19 and in this situation every organisation, NGOs and individual are coming forward to help the Govt and needy people in their own capacity. The Kamrup Chamber of Commerce ( KCC ) has also contributed over Rs 61 lakhs to Chief Minister Relief Funds ( CMRF ) and Arogya Nidhi Funds ( ANF ).
The KCC president Mahavir Prasad Jain informed that “The chamber Contributed Rupees Thirty lakh two hundred in Chief Minister Relief Funds and Thirty One lakhs seven thousand in Arogya Nidhi Funds. The cheques of the above amount was handed over to Assam Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma respectively.
All the members of the Kamrup Chamber of Commerce applaud the pro activeness of the Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal and Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma in their commitment to combat the Novel Cona Virus Pandemic, said KCC president .
He also informed that members of Digamber Jain Panchayat also distributed, food packets, ration and other essential commodities to the needy people in different places of Assam during ongoing lockdown.
