GOC-in-C Estern Command Visits Trishakti Corps

The Army Commander emphasized the need for remaining ready at all times to meet the emerging security challenges to all ranks.

Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command arrived at Sukna, West Bengal on 27 Jan 2020 on a  four days visit to Trishakti Corps and its formations.

On arrival at Sukna, the Army Commander was received by Lieutenant General Nav K Khanduri, General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps and was briefed on the operational, training and logistics issues.

On 28 Jan 2020, the Army Commander accompanied by GOC Trishakti Corps visited the field formations and units and on 29 Jan 2020 he visited forward areas in Nathu La. On 30 Jan 2020, the Army Commander visited various other formations at Bengdubi Military Station and was briefed on the operational preparedness and administrative aspects by the formation commanders.
