Manipur: Security forces apprehend two KCP PWG cadres with weapons & explosives

IMPHAL:  Security Forces in a joint operation with Police representative apprehended two active cadres of banned Underground Group of KCP PWG from Imphal East, Manipur on 30 Jan 2021, informed a PRO defence.

Based on specific inputs, Security Forces along with Police launched an operation resulting in apprehension of two KCP (PWG) active cadres. The troops also recovered one AK 47 rifle, seven live rounds of ammunition, one hand grenade and other war like stores.

The apprehended individuals with recoveries were handed over to Moirang police station for further investigation.
