Tripura: 17 more BSF Jawan tested Covid19 positive in Ambasa
Now state's new coronavirus positive cases have increased to 132.

Aagartala- The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Tripura has worsened alarmingly, as the state reported 17 more positive cases on Saturday, informed Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his twitter handle.
Now state’s new coronavirus positive cases have increased to 132. Almost all the state’s COVID-19 positive persons are from Border Security Force(BSF) posted in Ambasa camp.
Informing this the Chief Minister on Saturday night tweeted, “17 persons found COVID-19 positive in Tripura today from 86th battalion from BSF, Ambasa. No civilian found among them. Total COVID-19 active cases in Tripura now stands at 132.”

Yesterday Thirty COVID-19 cases were confirmed including including 25 BSF jawans of 86th- Bn, 4 BSF family members from 138th-Bn & 1 truck driver.
While day before yesterday, 24 persons from 86th-Bn BSF stationed at Ambassa were found COVID-19 positive today.
