Assam: Biggest spike in COVID-19 with 26 cases, tally reaches 256
All 26 are from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre.

Guwahati- Assam on Friday recorded its biggest spike in COVID-19 cases with 26 new cases taking the tally of coronavirus cases in the state to 256, as per the a tweet of Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The total number of active cases now stands at 195, while 54 people have recovered from the disease, he said, adding that 4 people have died of COVID-19. Besides, three more have migrated to other states, the minister said.
