Assam: Covid vaccination of civilian at 151 base hospital

GUWAHATI-  151 Base Hospital, Guwahati and  Military Hospital,  Shillong  have been at the frontline for management of COVID-19 patients since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Both the hospitals have commenced vaccination of civilians in addition to the service and ex-servicemen population.

Vaccination sessions are being held between 9 AM to 1 PM for eligible civilians who registered through COWIN portal.

With an average of 98-99% turnout, the sessions are being conducted mindful of COVID-19 protocols.   The hospitals prior to this have conducted vaccination sessions for approx 23500 serving personnel.
