Assam: Indian Army distributed 30 sewing machine to poor women of remote villages

The initiative of the Indian Army has contributed positively in uplifting the society by empowering women of Assam.

ASSAM-   Red Horns Division distributed 30 sewing machine sets including chairs, tables and stands to women of remote villages, under Op Sadhbhavna  held at Kajalgaon, Chirang, Assam on 14 Mar 2021.

The event was held at Panbari Higher Senior Secondary School in the presence of the respective Gaon Burahs of Bogiwara, Khochubil, Boulajhar, Abdaguri and Gorobdwara villages.

The initiative of the Indian Army has contributed positively in uplifting the society by empowering women of Assam.

The gesture has been highly appreciated by the locals, who said ” Indian Army empowering women and  uplifting the society”
