Assam: NCC Army wings raised at Silchar schools
SILCHAR- Brigadier Pramit Saxena, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarter Silchar inaugurated National Cadet Corps (NCC), Army Wing in Kalain Higher secondary school and Satya Ranjan College Kalain on 21, Jan 2021.
On the occasion a special programme was organized to felicitate the dignitaries. The programme began with the welcome note by Mr Sirajul Ambia, Principal Kalain Higher Secondary school.
As the chief guest,– Brigadier Pramit encouraged the participants with his invigorating speech. He said NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline and maintaining a secular outlook and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.
In his address he stated that NCC camp training and parade will add credit to the students’ profile as well as his personality and also enhance his employment opportunities.
Dr Bijit Goswami, Principal Sataya Ranjan college proposed the Vote of Thanks and the event successfully ended with National Anthem.
