After the three incident of rape with minor in Arunachal, Now in Assam a sex racket has been busted by police along with locals in Jorhat’s Pub Bongal Pukhuri area. Three persons including a woman has been arrested in this connection.
As per sources, the sex racket had been active in the region for a while but as alleged by the locals – the police was not taking any step against it despite repeated complaints by them. The locals finally took matter on their hands and nabbed two youths in regard.
Later, in the presence of an Executive Magistrate the police along with the locals raided the house of a woman who was allegedly running the sex racket.
Tension erupted after the woman’s apprehension as the locals tried to woman whereas the woman denied the allegations. Moreover the locals had beaten the two youths but were stopped by the police.
