Coronavirus: Nagaland reports its First COVID-19 Case

Nagaland reported its first case of the novel coronavirus ( Covid-19 ). According to Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the patient was referred from a private hospital in Dimapur to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital after he was found to have symptoms of COVID-19. Confirming that the aforesaid person had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Sarma added that he was undergoing treatment.

With the fresh Covid-19 case, the total number of positive cases in the Northeastern region has surged to 35, including 29 from Assam, two each from Manipur and Tripura, and one each from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
Meanwhile, One Covid-19 positive patient died in Assam on April 10. and One covid-19 patient in Manipur cured and returned home on Sunday.
