COVID-19: Assam crosses 2,000-mark, 285 new cases reported today

Guwahati- Assam crossed the 2,000 mark of COVID-19 ( Coronavirus ) cases as 285 more people tested positive on Thursday, taking the State’s total to 2115, informed Assam health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in his series of tweets.
The day started with 47 new cases at 11.40 am, 111 more cases were confirmed at 6;30 pm, followed by 85 more cases at 10:30 pm and at 11:15 pm 42 more cases has been reported out of which 38 from Dhubri and 4 from Darrang.

The good thing is that, today a total 46 patient has been recovered and discharged, informed minister in his other two tweets.
Till filling of this report on Saturday at 11:55 pm, Assam has total 21157 covid -19 positive cases, of which 1649 are active, while 459 people have been discharged from hospitals after being cured. The state has recorded 4 fatalities due to the contagion, and three has been migrated to other state.
