Indian Army expresses solidarity in Lower Assam

Guwahati- Various units of Red Horns Divison , under the aegis of Indian Army conducted several events in Dhubri, Goalpara and Chirang, districts expressing gratitude to healthcare workers and other coronavirus frontline “warriors” of Lower Assam.
As a part of the Nationwide activity, a Wreath Laying Ceremony was held at the Police Reserve Ground, Goalpara and 20 Assam Police Battalion Memorial in Dhubri, Assam to express gratitude and solidarity to the Police personnel on ground, who are working tirelessly to enforce successful lockdown across the Nation.
The Indian Army & Assam Police troops during the ceremony paid obeisance in honour of all those who made the supreme sacrifice for the country in the line of duty.
In another event, a unit in Chirang dist. carried out Band Display at the JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon today morning to thank all the Corona warriors.
Expressing a grand gesture of gratitude, the warriors of the Indian Army played the martial music outside the hospital. This was done to uplift the moral and show solidarity to all those who are engaged in fighting the present battle against the global pandemic.
