Tripura- Veteran Congress leaders and MLA Ratan Lal joins BJP

The veteran Congress leader of Tripura and MLA Ratan Lal Nath along with his hundreds of supporters have joined BJP on Friday in presence of BJP’s national general secretary Ram Madhav and Northeast BJP Stalwart Himanta Biswa Sarma during a rally in front of BJP’s state headquarters in Agartala’s Krishna Nagar.

Not only Ratan Lal,   the councillor of Agartala Municipal Corporation  and senior woman leader of Congress Himani Debbarma also joined the saffron party.

Addressing a gathering Madhav said, All the good politicians from opposition parties are now joining BJP to make a corruption free, crime against women free and poverty free state.

“BJP is ruling 75% people of the country covering 80% of the landmass. Within the next two months, BJP would rule Tripura as well, Madhav added.

Speaking in the joining programme , Ratan Lal Nath said this fight is fight for justice and fairplay as in ‘Mahabharat’. ‘Those who want justice and corruption free Tripura, should join BJP to make a new Tripura’,

Meanwhile the BJP has decided to start its campaign for a ‘communist free’ India from here.
