Assam CM Invites Union Minister Scindia for Advantage Assam Summit 2025

Chief Minister and the Union Minister discussed in detail about the forthcoming event and the avenues related to ongoing development projects in Assam.

NEW DELHI-  Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia at his official residence here on Tuesday.

In course of the meeting that lasted for close to 30 minutes, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma extended invitation to Union Minister Scindia to attend the upcoming Advantage Assam Summit in Guwahati in February next year.

Praising Union Minister Scindia for organising the Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav in Delhi that would give a great impetus to the entire Northeast Region, the Chief Minister and the Union Minister discussed in detail about the forthcoming event and the avenues related to ongoing development projects in Assam.

Later taking to the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister Dr. Sarma wrote, “This morning, I had the pleasure to invite Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @JM_Scindia ji to the #AdvantageAssam summit to be held in Guwahati on Feb 2025.

We also discussed about the upcoming #AshtalakshmiMahotsav being driven by @MDoNER_India and avenues related to ongoing development projects in the State.”
