Assam: NCC cadets helps prevent fire in Rajdhani Express

GUWAHATI-  NCC cadets under North East Directorate while travelling from Dibrugarh to New Delhi for Republic Day Parade Camp, today, One of the coaches of Rajdhani express (B 7) caught fire.

The  cadets traveling in B 6  helped out fellow travellers, evacuating them from the coach  which resulted in saving precious lives.

This Life saving task undertaken by the cadets , taking the risk is the result of Disaster management training imparted to them in NCC which had come handy in real and practical situation.

The actions displayed by the cadets were highly appreciated by the people and they thank them immensely.

Due to courage and timely intervention of the cadets, there was no casualty sustain by their fellow passengers.
