Assam: Show cause to Govt. doctor of Hailakandi

Earlier, repeated warnings were issued but the government doctor did not pay heed to them forcing the authorities to act tough against him.

A Show cause notice has been issued to Dr. Joynal Abedin for doing private practice neglecting his government duty.

Dr. Abedin was caught at around 12.30 pm for doing private practice during OPD hours at the Central Medical Store.

Joint Director, Health Services, Dr. Abed Rasul Mazumder Issued show cause to Dr. Abedin asking as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him for doing private practice during OPD hours. His salary has been put on hold by the health authorities.
