Manipur: Army recovers IEDs in joint operation in Imphal East

Eva, the Army explosive detection dog and Bomb Disposal Squad played a crucial role in detection and recoveries.

IMPHAL-  Indian Army on Tuesday recovered five Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) during a joint operation in Imphal East district, confirmed by Defence PRO  Lt Col Amit Shukla.

Acting on specific information about the presence of explosives in the area of Maphitel Ridge in Imphal East district of Manipur, Indian Army alongwith Manipur Police launched a search operation and recovered five Imrovised Explosive Devices (IEDs) weighing approximately 21.5 kilograms from multiple locations.
