AGARTALA– Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on his 11th visit to Tripura since 2014, inaugurated the redeveloped Mata Tripura Sundari Temple complex in Udaipur, Gomati district, on Monday. The move marks a major step in enhancing Tripura’s spiritual, cultural, and tourism appeal, while highlighting the Centre’s commitment to Northeast development.

The highlight was the inauguration of the 524-year-old Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, a revered Shakti Peetha, redeveloped under the PRASAD scheme (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive).
