GUWAHATI– Assam down town University (AdtU) proudly announced that Dr. Saikat Sen, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, has been recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists in the prestigious global ranking released by Stanford University and Elsevier (2025).

This international recognition underscores Dr. Sen’s outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, his groundbreaking research, and his commitment to academic excellence.

  • Metrics:The selection uses a composite indicator (c-score) that incorporates standardized citation metrics.
  • Evaluation:The evaluation includes factors like the number of citations, co-authorship adjustments, and authorship positions to measure both career-long and single-year impact.
  • Classification:Scientists are categorized into 22 major fields and 174 sub-fields using the Science-Metrix classification.
