Assam CM briefs Union Home Minister on a gamut of issues; compliments Shah for eliminating Red Terror
Shah congratulated Dr. Sarma for NDA's sweeping victory in the Panchayat polls.

NEW DELHI- Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and apprised him on various matters pertaining to Assam.
In course of the meeting at the official residence of Union Home Minister in the afternoon, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma briefed Union Home Minister Shah on a gamut of matters pertaining to his State and on the resounding victory of NDA in the recently concluded Panchayat elections.

The Chief Minister also complimented the Union Home Minister on the considerable gains being made in eliminating Red Terror.
Shah congratulated Dr. Sarma for NDA’s sweeping victory in the Panchayat polls.
Later, taking to the micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister wrote, “Had the honour of meeting Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji in New Delhi today.
