Assam: Indian Army organises Pension Adalat at Rangiya

The patriotic sentiments behind the quote has always been the guiding and motivating factor for all Principal Controller Defence Account (PCDA) Officials who were invited by Red Horns Divisions of Indian Army to organize a Defence Pension Adalat for the veterans of Assam after a gap of four years at Rangiya.
The presence of a number of high ranking officers of Controller of Defence Account (CGDA) Officials for the function organised to ensure ‘On the Spot Redressal’ of pension related grievances indicate the importance being given towards veterans care.
The joint effort focused towards Pension Adalat which is being organise on 05 and 06 April 2019 at Red Horns Auditorium, Rangia which would benefit hundreds of Veterans / Veer Naris / Widows from all over Assam. After inaugurating the function, the Chief Guest, Ms Anuradha Mitra, Addl CGDA, re-iterated the commitment of their organisation towards welfare of Ex- Servicemen and their families.
Maj Gen S Khatri, VSM GOC Red Horns Division welcomed and thanked all official of CGDA and emphasized the importance of veteran’s welfare and importance of cohesion between the PCDA & the Army for mitigating grievances of Veterans.
The inaugural function was also attended by Mr Praveen Kumar PCDA Allahabad, Mr SK Singh, IDAS, IFA (EC), Mr Ande Poshetty, IDAS, CDA, Guwahati, and other officers from the Army and Rajya Sainik Board, Assam.
Veer Naris were also felicitated during the Pension Adalat, where they interacted with the GOC Red Horns Division and other officials with regards to the addressal of their pension related issues.
