Mahanta and BTC announces Financial Assistance to Ankushita Boro

Former chief minister of Assam Prafullo Kumar Mahanta and BTC Administration has announced financial assistance to boxer Ankushita Boro. Mr Mahanta has announced to donate his one month salary to Ankushita Boro as financial assistance while the BTC administration has announced Rs. 2 lakhs financial assistance for Assam Boxer Ankushita Boro.
India’s Ankushita Boro wins gold in 64 kg category in World Youth Championship in Guwahati. Boro was declared as the best boxer in the AIBA Women’s Youth World Championship 2017 in Guwahati on Sunday. Congratulations to Ankushita.
Ankushita defeated the powerful Russian Ekaterina Dynnik 4-1 to the delight of local supporters.
Ankushita hailing from a remote Dekhiajuli of Sonitpur district would be competing against Russia today in the finals.
