Manipur: Clean Drive Conducted in Churachandpur, Manipur Relief Camps

Amid the ongoing challenges faced by those residing in relief camps, the initiative aimed to provide a clean and hygienic environment for the camp inhabitants.

CHURACHANDPUR-  In a remarkable display of community collaboration and philanthropic dedication, Rural Women Upliftment Society (RWUS) and Highland Impact joined forces with several other charitable organizations to organize a comprehensive clean drive across 9 relief camps in Churachandpur, Manipur.

Amid the ongoing challenges faced by those residing in relief camps, the initiative aimed to provide a clean and hygienic environment for the camp inhabitants. The joint effort, which took place on August 14, sought to enhance the living conditions of those displaced from their homes due to various adversities.

Volunteers from RWUS, Highland Impact, and other partner organizations gathered early in the morning to kick off the clean drive. Armed with cleaning supplies, they worked tirelessly to sweep, mop, and sanitize the relief camp areas. The collective effort aimed not only to physically clean the surroundings but also to uplift the spirits of the residents by showing them that their well-being is a shared concern.

Local community members, along with representatives from the participating organizations, collaborated seamlessly to ensure the smooth execution of the clean drive.
