Nagaland: Autumn Festival to Boost Nagaland Tourism, Says Minister

At a New Delhi press meet, Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along announced the Autumn Festival 2025 and outlined key cultural and developmental priorities.

NEW DELHI— Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along today held a press interaction in New Delhi to announce the upcoming Autumn Festival 2025 and highlight key developmental initiatives in the state.

The two-day festival, scheduled for October 24-25 at Nagaland House, is designed to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage, including traditional crafts, folk dances, and cuisine, while promoting Nagaland as a tourist destination.

Speaking at the press meet, Temjen Imna Along said the festival offers a platform for cultural exchange and strengthens Nagaland’s presence in the national capital. “The Autumn Festival not only celebrates our traditions but also connects our people with a wider audience across India,” he said.

In addition to the festival announcement, Temjen Along met Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh to discuss priorities for science-led development, technological innovation, and administrative reforms in Nagaland. The minister emphasized central support for skill development, youth entrepreneurship, and technology-driven growth.

Both leaders reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen Union-State cooperation in accelerating governance reforms and economic development in Nagaland. Temjen Along also extended Diwali greetings to the nation on behalf of the people of Nagaland.

The Autumn Festival 2025 is expected to be a milestone event, highlighting Nagaland’s vibrant cultural identity while advancing initiatives that foster economic and social growth.
