Tripura: Former director of industry depart Kaiser Debbarma arrested in land scam case
Police sources said that during remand Kaiser will be put through intensive interrogation for extracting all details of the case of fraud.

AGARTALA- Former director of industries department, Kaiser Debbarma has been arrested by police personnel of West Agartala police station yesterday from his Krishna Nagar home. He, along with five others, had been accused in a land scam case.
According to police sources, as director of the industries department Kaiser had been acquainted with Himanshu Panchal of Noida, director of the ‘World Education Mission’ company and had promised to make available to him more than 50 acres of land (133 ‘Kanis) for setting up a school.

Kaiser and his accomplices had also extorted Rs 1.25 crores after showing the company director the land to be made available in Bodhjung Nagar area.
But this was a huge fraud as forged papers for the land had been prepared in Mohanpur. The land was however not being handed over.

The director of ‘World Education Mission’ Himanshu Panchal had soon realized that he was being defrauded and filed a criminal complaint against Kaiser and his accomplices.
It was on July 12, 2023 that five accomplices of Kaiser identified as Uttam Saha, Debasish Chakraborty, Subrata Acarjee , Rajesh Tripura and Biplab Sharma had been first arrested though Kaiser had managed to escape arrest.

They had got bail but recently Rajesh Tripura was rearrested and brought on remand during the period of remand Rajesh Tripura, took the name of Kaiser Debbarma as the kingpin behind the fraudulent racket.
After obtaining all information that police yesterday arrested Kaiser Debbarma under altogether twelve sections of the ‘Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita’ (BNS). Police sources said that during remand Kaiser will be put through intensive interrogation for extracting all details of the case of fraud.
