Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan, Dibrugarh on Sunday arranged a free show of the Movie PADMAN for invited guests specially women.
The main object behind the initiative was to show people the struggle that females in our country are going through. It is to show that females are missing out on general hygienic facilities like Sanitary Pads which are absolutely necessary for a woman during her period.
This was a part of our other project for the awareness of the society specially the women. – said Ritu Lohia, President, Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan, Dibrugarh.
The show was attended by Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner and a house full viewers.
Earlier, Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan, Dibrugarh branch installed the 4th & 5th sets of Sanitary Napkin incinerators and organised awareness seminar at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Doomardallong Dibrugarh on the occasion of its 23rd Annual Day Celebration yesterday.
The two machines installed under their permanent project,
RITUDHARM SAHKAAR PRAKALP were inauguratd by Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Laya Madduri in presence of the donor members of Jhabarmal Lohia Charitable Trust.
