At least 30 people were injured in Assam as mobs clashed with police and security forces during 24 hrs BTAD bandh on Tuesday. The people were protesting a recent Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) decision on land sale.

Rahman was on way to kokrajhar from Bholpur along with a friend when they were stopped and later set the vehicle on fire after pouring petrol . Rehman sustain 40 percent burn and undergoing treatment at Rupnath Brahma civil hospital.
Meanwhile bandh supporters blockade the roads by burning tyres at several places. Sporadic incidents of pelting stones, burning of tyres and damaging vehicles were reported from several place.
