Army Leg of TRI Services Adventure Expedition: Flagged in at Tezpur

The Army phase of the Indian Armed Forces Tri Services Adventure Expedition was flagged in today at Tezpur by Lt Gen AS Bedi, General Officer Commanding, Gajraj Corps. The expedition team after a gruelling trek of 85 km in forests of West Kameng district, had cycled over 103 Kms in the foothills from Buragaon to Tezpur in three days.
Lt Gen Bedi congratulated the team and conveyed his appreciation on success of various medical camps and other outreach programs with the students, local youth and villagers enroute. He appreciated the joint conduct and integration of all three services in this novel venture of Eastern Army Command. The spirit of brotherhood by the team is a step further towards jointness in the Indian Military.
He extended his best wishes to the team for the Air Force and Navy phases of the expedition. The Air force and Navy phases are due at Bagdogra and Vishakhapatnam from 22 September to 06 October 2017.
