Assam: Army organised Medical & Veterinary Camp in Barpeta
Approximately 750 patients were benefitted by this camp.
BARPETA- A unit of Red Horns Division of Indian Army organised a “Medical & Vet Camp” under Op Sadbhavana in Char Areas at village Barballa in Barpetta District, for the local populace.
Team of doctors from Army and Civil Administration gave treatment to all the patients at the medical camp and also spread awarness on health issues.
Free Medical checkup of the patients was done alongwith distribution of free medicines to the patients. Approximately 750 patients including children, women and men from village Barballa and adjoining areas were benefitted by this camp.
Besides providing free medical care, the camp was also used as a platform to educate the masses about hygiene and sanitation aspects.
The local populace applauded and appreciated the efforts put in by Army and requested to organise more such events in future also.
