Assam down town University to Kick Off Academic Year with Grand Orientation ‘Abhimukh’ from August 1

GUWAHATI– Assam down town University is all set to welcome its new batch of students for the academic session 2025–26 with a vibrant and structured orientation programme, ‘Abhimukh’, starting August 1. Named after the Sanskrit word meaning “a journey towards the beginning,” Abhimukh is designed to help first-year students transition smoothly into university life.
The inaugural day will include academic briefings, faculty introductions, infrastructure familiarization, and guided campus tours, offering students a deep dive into the university’s academic culture and support systems.

One of the highlights of the day will be ‘AdtU Got Talent’, a lively stage event that invites new students to showcase their creative and artistic flair. The 2025 edition of Abhimukh is particularly special as it comes on the heels of the university’s latest achievement – the prestigious NAAC A+ Accreditation – a testament to its academic excellence, quality benchmarks, and student-focused innovation.
