Assam: HR Conclave 5.0 Examines AI-Led Hiring Future

Industry leaders at HR Conclave 5.0 discuss how AI, automation, and digital intelligence are reshaping recruitment, skilling, and the strategic role of HR.

GUWAHATI-  HR Conclave 5.0 brought together HR strategists, technology innovators and industry leaders for a full-day discussion on “Recruitment 5.0: AI and Automation Redefining Talent Acquisition.” The event explored how artificial intelligence is transforming hiring, workforce readiness and the evolving responsibilities of HR professionals in an automated future.

The conclave began with registration and networking tea, followed by the ceremonial Lamp Lighting. Opening remarks, a welcome speech and thought-sharing sessions set the agenda for the day, emphasising the need for HR to integrate technology with human-centered leadership.

Panel Discussion I: AI as a Catalyst for Skilling and Employability

The first panel examined how AI tools are reshaping the skilling ecosystem and helping young professionals become more employable. Moderated by Ashish Banka, Global Lead – TA & HRBP, Cradlewise, the panel included:

Panelists noted that AI-driven learning tools, predictive analytics and personalised skilling pathways are enabling students and professionals to prepare for rapidly evolving job roles.

Panel Discussion II: Future Role of HR in an AI-Driven Era

The second panel focused on how HR professionals must evolve into strategic digital partners. Moderated by Prabhanjan Prasoon, Sr Director – TA, Birlasoft, the panel featured:

  • Priyanka Sinha, Head – ER, Compliance & Payroll, Myntra
  • Manoj K Prasad, VP – Talent Transformation, Reliance Industries Ltd.
  • Jagadamba B, Head – TA, Infiniti Retail (Croma)
  • Abhishek Arun, Sr VP – HR, HDFC Bank Ltd.
  • Lengdon Rajkhowa, HR Manager, Marico Ltd.

Speakers highlighted that HR must combine technological literacy with strategic insight to drive organisational growth in an AI-first environment.

Leadership Remarks

Vice-Chancellor Dr. N.C. Talukdar said the conclave underscores the university’s commitment to preparing future talent:
