Assam- Myanmar Trained NDFB(S) Cadres Apprehended

Four Myanmar trained NDFB (S) Cadres were apprehended by the troops of Red Horns Division in a Joint Operation with Assam Police from the twin Districts of Sonitpur and Biswanath Chariali today.

NDFB (S) has been relentlessly trying to  induct new Cadres from the Districts of Sonitpur and Biswanath. The terrorist organisation has been  unable to revive it’s waning influence due to sustained intelligence based operations by the Security Forces in the area.

In another incident Martyars Narzary alias N. Maothi ( 24)  a 42nd batch cadre of NDFB(S) who was injured in the encounter at Dumbazar area in kokrajhar  district on 13 Dec,  in which a self styled Sargent major of NDFB-S Sandw was killed has been apprehended today from Oxiguri area.  One 9mm Factory made Pistol and five rounds of live ammunitions.
