Assam: Parimal’s Path Suraksha Jan Andolan bike rally reaches Charaideo

CHARAIDEO- Transport, Excise & Fisheries Minister Parimal Suklabaidya today on his day 17 of Path Suraksha Jan Andolan bike rally, reached Charaideo district after covering the constituencies Duliajan & Naharkatiya of Dibrugarh district.

During today’s visit to Charaideo district, Minister attended two road safety awareness meetings at Sonari & Mahmora constituencies in presence of  MLA Dharmeswar Kuwar & Minister Jogen Mohan respectively.

It is to be mentioned that Hon’ble Minister has covered 74 constituencies till now, reaching out to various people from different sections & backgrounds urging them to adopt road safety measures to the fullest in order to reduce the graph of road accidents in the state.

Minister Parimal Suklabaidya also chaired the District Road Safety Committee meeting of Charaideo district today at Charaideo District Commissioner’s office in presence of Minister Jogen Mohan, MLA Dharmeswar Kuwar, DC, Additional SP, DTO, Excise Superintendent, Joint Director of Health Services & other stakeholders.

Charaideo district witnessed a total of 40 road accidents in 2023 till October wherein 25 people lost their lives.

Transport Minister urged all stakeholders to intensify the drives against traffic rule violators & also continue the outreach activities so as to bring down the accident figures of the district to zero in the coming days.
