Assam CM meets Union Minister Hardeep Puri discusses discusses State’s potential green economy

Earlier, the Chief Minister met National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval at the latter's residence. The meeting on security related matters lasted for almost 45 minutes.

NEW DELHI-  Assam Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma called on Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri at Parliament House here on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri discussed on the huge potential Assam has on green economy and how the upcoming strategic investments can unleash the state into a major energy hub.

The Union Minister said that looking into Assam’s tremendous potential in the green energy sector, the Central Government would extend all possible help and assistance to the state to make it a major energy hub.

Later, taking to X, formerly Twitter, Chief Minister Sarma posted, “Delighted to meet the extremely knowledgeable Shri Hardeep Singh Puri ji, Hon’ble Union Minister.
