IMPHAL- The National Integration Tour, organised under Operation Sadbhavana by the Spear Corps of the Indian Army, was successfully conducted from 14 October to 23 October 2024 for nine Youth Ambassadors from Manipur, and culminated in a grand ceremony held at Koirengei, Imphal West district of Manipur on 23 October 2024.
The tour, aimed at fostering national unity and promoting cultural understanding, was flagged off by the General Officer Commanding, Red Shield Division on 14 October 2024, from Koirengei.
During the 10 days tour the participants visited Army establisments, places of historical importance and got an opportunity to interact with civil dignitaries and senior officers of Army while visiting Kolkata, Tawang and Shillong.
During the visiting Shillong the Ambassadors had the privilege of meeting with C H Vijayshankar, the Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, on 22 October 2024 and visiting DG Assam Rifles.

On culmination of the tour thet were felicitated by the GOC, Red Shield Division, at a reception organised at Koirengei on 23 October 2024. The National Integration Tour provided the Youth Ambassadors with a unique and invaluable opportunity to engage with the Indian Army and experience India’s diverse cultural fabric.
These interactions and experiences will leave a lasting impression, helping to build connections and deepen their understanding of India’s unity in diversity.
