‘We are observing National Youth Day on Thursday, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. I extend best wishes and blessings to the youth of Sikkim on this wonderful occasion,’ Chamling said.

Swami Vivekananda believed that the youth are changemakers and I believe that spirit of innovation and evolution must be inculcated by the youth of Sikkim, he added.

‘Sikkim’s youth generation is the most educated in its history, and the state expects a lot from them. It is my hope that the youth rise to the challenges and expectations that lie before them in order to make Sikkim one of the best states in the world,’ added Chamling.
