GANGTOK- Sikkim’s youth generation is the most educated in its history, and the state expects a lot from them, Stated former Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.
Former Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has conveyed his good wishes to the Youth of Sikkim on the National Youth Day here on Thursday.
‘We are observing National Youth Day on Thursday, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. I extend best wishes and blessings to the youth of Sikkim on this wonderful occasion,’ Chamling said.
Swami Vivekananda believed that the youth are changemakers and I believe that spirit of innovation and evolution must be inculcated by the youth of Sikkim, he added.
‘Sikkim’s youth generation is the most educated in its history, and the state expects a lot from them. It is my hope that the youth rise to the challenges and expectations that lie before them in order to make Sikkim one of the best states in the world,’ added Chamling.
Finally, Pawan Chamling said, ‘I am content that during our 25 year tenure, we were able to create institutions and opportunities that benefit the youth and support them in their growth. In the coming days, I look forward to working with the youth to shape Sikkim’s future.’
