Three Winners Crowned Mega Miss North East 2026
Stella Rica Khongsni, Leimapokpam Ghanapyari Devi and Tenzing Choden Sherpa share top honours at the 22nd Sunsilk Mega Miss North East Grand Finale in Guwahati.

GUWAHATI- Stella Rica Khongsni from Meghalaya, Leimapokpam Ghanapyari Devi from Manipur and Tenzing Choden Sherpa from Sikkim were crowned winners of the 22nd Sunsilk Mega Miss North East 2026 at a grand finale held in Guwahati.
The pageant followed its progressive format by naming three winners who will share equal honours and responsibilities as titleholders.
The 22nd edition of the event saw participation from hundreds of young women across the eight states of Northeast India. Auditions were conducted both offline and online before shortlisted finalists were brought to Guwahati for an intensive grooming and mentorship programme.

The competition culminated in a high-energy grand finale where contestants were evaluated on multiple parameters including poise, intelligence, confidence, personality and stage presence.
The pageant was conceptualised by fashion entrepreneur Abhijeet Singha and is produced by Mega Entertainment, with marketing handled by Mega Activation.
The newly crowned winners will receive professional representation, advanced grooming, brand endorsements and public relations support, along with opportunities to represent the region at national and international fashion platforms.

Several special awards were also presented during the finale. Phurpa Drema from Arunachal Pradesh was named Incredible India Mega Miss Tourism 2026. Sarah Malsawmtlungi from Mizoram received the Nilkamal Miss Popular title. Tenzing Choden Sherpa also won Coca-Cola Miss Refreshing Beauty, while Sanu Kumari from Assam was awarded the Sunsilk Sway Icon title.
Organisers described the grand finale as a celebration of regional diversity, fashion and cultural expression, reaffirming the platform’s role in promoting talent and empowering young women from the Northeast.
