Arunachal: AdtU Hosts Educators Conclave on Future Learning

Conclave brings together academic leaders and industry experts to discuss mental well-being, AI-driven education, and workforce readiness.

GUWAHATI- Assam down town University (AdtU) successfully hosted the second edition of “EduElevate – Northeast Educators Conclave 2025” at Radisson Blu, Guwahati, bringing together prominent educationists, policymakers, industry leaders and academic experts to deliberate on future-oriented education and student development.

The event began with a formal inaugural session and lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the keynote address from Dr. Dimpy Mahanta, Associate Professor & HoD (Psychology), Cotton University.

Dr. Mahanta highlighted the importance of institutional responsibility in supporting student well-being, emphasising mental health, empathy and inclusive environments within educational spaces.

Panel Discussions

The first panel discussion — moderated by Dr. Manjusha Deka Saikia (Assam down town University) — explored institutional frameworks for student mental health. Panelists included:

  • Prof. Saswati Choudhury
  • Dr. Mythili Hazarika
  • Arup Kumar Baishya
  • Sandeep Gulia

The session underscored clinician-supported interventions, awareness-based policies, and community-engaged models for holistic student development.

The second panel, moderated by Dr. Sunandan Baruah, focused on Future-Proofing India’s Workforce, examining AI-driven employability and industry-aligned skill development. Speakers included Rohit Gupta, Ankit Shyamsukha, Rajiv Agarwal, Manish Kumar, and Prasenjit Chanda, who emphasised integrating technology-adaptive learning, strengthening industry collaboration, and skilling students for an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The conclave concluded with AdtU Excellence Awards 2025, celebrating contributions in school leadership and teaching:
