Arunachal Pradesh : Pema Khandu sworn-in as the Chief Minister of the state

Mr Pema Khandu has been sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh in a magnificent function at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre, Itanagar on 29th May 2019.
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to him.
The Governor, in exercise of the powers, conferred on him by article 164 (1) of the Constitution of India, appointed Mr Pema Khandu to be Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
Mr Chowna Mein, Member of Legislative Assembly was also sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of the State on the occasion.

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by article 164 (1) of the Constitution of India and on the advice of the Chief Minister, the Governor appointed Mr Chowna Mein as the Deputy Chief Minister and administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to him.

The Governor also administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Wanki Lowang, Mr Honchun Ngandam, Mr Kamlung Mossang, Mr Alo Libang, Mr Bamang Felix, Mr Tumke Bagra, Mr Mama Natung, Mr Tage Taki, Mr Taba Tedir and Mr Nakap Nalo.
Chief Minister of Assam Mr Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Tripura Mr Biplab Kumar Deb, Chief Minister of Manipur Mr N Biren Singh, Chief Minister of Nagaland Mr Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr Conrad Sangma, NEDA Chairman and Senior Minister of Assam Mr Hemanta Biswa Sarma and both Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from the Arunachal Pradesh Mr Kiren Rijiju and Mr Tapir Gao were present on the occasion amongst others.
