Two persons were killed, and three injured when a clash broke out between two parties during last night in Dibrugarh town of Assam.
As alleged there was an road accident between an bike and a Maruti Swift Dzire bearing no. AR-20 -4847. Some persons stopped the car. The persons in the car came out and attacked the other persons who stopped the car with sharp weapon. 5 persons (all employees of AMC seriously injured) were rushed to AMC. One of them Dipak Mech declared brought dead at AMC. Another Ratul Bora died in AMC late night. 3 seriously injured Pranjit Bhuyan, Rupam Nath & Manoj Dutta are undergoing treatment at AMC.
The angry public damaged the Swift car. Police towed the car to their custody.

After the death of two persons, the angry public started searching the culprits in many nearby lodges , hotels etc. Police, Security forces managed the situation.
Dibrugarh DC Pallav Gopal Jha visited AMC after the incident and took stock of the situation.
Police has also arrested the main culprits Gunin Chetia of Laipuli, Tinsukia and another Sonu Ahmed.
Security forces deployed in the entire area. The Dibrugarh district administration has appealed people to maintain peace. He also appealed all not to pay any heed to rumours.
