Assam: Army Celebrating 74th R-Day with Cultural Extravaganza at Tezpur
The event is aimed at showcasing the diverse culture of our nation as part of Republic Day Celebrations.
TEZPUR- In the run up to the 74th Republic Day, Indian Army is organising multiple celebratory events at Tezpur Military Station’s Meghna Stadium on 22 and 23 January 23.
Military Martial Display, Enthralling Dog Show, Pipe Band display, Kalaripayattu Martial Art, Himachali Naati, Bhangra dance & Indian Army Weapon & Equipment display will be the major highlights of the event.
The event is aimed at showcasing the diverse culture of our nation as part of Republic Day Celebrations.
It is being witnessed by over 5000 serving personnel along with their families, esteemed ex-servicemen, prominent civil dignitaries & school children of Kendriya Vidyalaya & Army Public School.
The defence personnel posted in the station along with their families were seen enjoying a rare opportunity in their otherwise hectic life during the cultural events, game stalls and the variety of culinary choices from all across the country made available at the venue during the two-day gala.
