Assam CEO Reviews Poll Preparedness in Dibrugarh
Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Goel inspected election facilities and preparedness in Dibrugarh ahead of the Assam Assembly Election 2026.

DIBRUGARH- Chief Electoral Officer of Assam Anurag Goel visited Dibrugarh district to review election preparedness ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly Election 2026.
During the visit, Goel inspected facilities at Dibrugarh Polytechnic, where arrangements are being made for the strong room, distribution and collection centre for polling materials, and the counting centre.

He was accompanied by District Commissioner and District Election Officer Bikram Kairi, along with other officials. The team reviewed the ongoing preparations and discussed infrastructural arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the election process in the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police Abhijit Gaurav Dilip, along with senior civil and departmental officials, also participated in the inspection.

Officials said the visit was aimed at ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for the efficient and transparent conduct of the upcoming assembly elections.
