Assam CM meets Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla

NEW DELHI-   Chief Minister of Assam, Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday met Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri at Parliament House here.

Chief Minister Dr. Sarma sought the assistance of Union Minister Puri to strengthen and harness to the optimum level Assam’s hydrocarbon industry.

The Chief Minister also extended invitation to the Union Minister to the Advantage Assam Summit in February next year.

Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita and senior officials from state and central governments were present.

Later taking to X, the Chief Minister wrote, “Held an excellent meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @HardeepSPuri ji.

I invited him to join us in the #AdvantageAssam Summit 2025 and also sought his assistance to strengthen and harness the full potential of Assam’s hydrocarbon industry.”

The Chief Minister also met Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla at Parliament House.

Later, taking to X, the Chief Minister wrote, “As Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri @ombirlakota ji has always displayed distinguished leadership and commitment to upholding parliamentary traditions.
It was a pleasure meeting him in Sansad Bhawan today.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma met Union Minister for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal at his official residence.

Taking to X, the Chief Minister wrote, “Grateful for the hospitality extended by Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @arjunrammeghwal Ji at his residence in New Delhi today.”
