Daisy Basumatary (21), from Kokrajhar of Assam, got selected for 1st National level of Beauty Pageant that is Sriya Miss India 2018. This national level contest will held at Jaipur Rajasthan on month of March, and more than 50 participants will be present from across the country.
Daisy is the daughter of Subash Basumatary and mother Minu Basumatary , she has been perusing BA last yr as English honours in Kokrajhar Govt college.
Daisy is one of three participants from northeast selected in the audition for Sriya Miss India was held at Guwhahti in December last.
Talking to reporters, Daisy Basumatary said that ” I am very much happy that I got selected for 1st National level of Beauty Pageant that is Sriya Miss India 2018″. and hope to get crown of Sriya Miss India and will bring fame for my hometown, Assam and Northeast and India”.
Daisy was also crown to be Miss Bodoland since 2016 and got the subtitle of Miss Haina. Her last beauty pageant was Miss Mega Northeast 2017. she achieved up to the semi final round over there.
She also said that when “I was age of 17 started my profession and that onwards I have been dreaming and doing hard work to get crown of in Sriya Miss India title and to fulfil my dream and my parent’s dream in reality.
Subash and Minu Parents of the Daisy Basumatary have expressed happiness because their daughter got selected for 1st National level of Beauty Pageant that is Sriya Miss India 2018 and she will be participating in beauty contest in March and she will be able to bring crown of Sriya Miss India 2018.
