Manipur: After ethnic Violence demand for Bulletproof Jacket increased in Manipur
The situation is that people are ordering jackets in large numbers.
IMPHAL- After a large number of people killed in ethnic violence in Manipur, suddenly the demand for BulletProof Jacket has increased there.
There is a lot of firing incident reported from various locations in all over state during the ethnic violence. The miscreants are firing at each other with automatic weapons. In this firing, common people are being killed without any fault. Because of which people have started feeling safe wearing a bullet proof jacket.

The violence that started in Manipur on May 3 has caused a lot of damage to the state. However, now the situation in the state has become normal as compared to earlier.
Now the demand for bullet proof jackets has increased in the state, where earlier not more than two bullet proof jackets were sold in a month, now 30 to 50 jackets are being sold.
The situation is that people are ordering jackets in large numbers.

Regarding the continuous orders, a local shopkeeper told to Media that, ‘We did not sell bullet proof jackets earlier, but since this problem has happened, we have started selling it.’
He said that this is the first time we are getting so much demand for it. Many people are coming to buy it. That’s why we are keeping it along with the clothes.
