NF Railway celebrates Vigilance Awareness week

Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated throughout Northeast Frontier Railway from 30th October to 4thNovember, 2017. The theme for this year is “My vision-Corruption free India”.
As part of the awareness week, various programmes were organised which includes taking of integrity pledge, organising interactive sessions, organizing essay writing, drawing and debate competitions in schools & colleges, organising various activities in zonal training centres, creating public awareness through banners, posters & Nukkad Nataks etc.
At Maligaon the pledge was administered on 30.10.2017 by Chahatey Ram, General Manager, N.F.Railway to officers and staff. Similarly pledge was administered at various offices of the Divisions, zonal training school and workshops.
Posters and banners were displayed at important locations throughout the jurisdiction of Northeast Frontier Railway. A Vigilance bulletin was also released on the occasion by the General Manager, N.F.Railway.
An interactive session with senior officers of all departments was held on 31st October, 2017 in the presence of Chahatey Ram, General Manager, N.F.Railway.
In the interactive session role, responsibilities, purpose, importance of preventive checks and case studies were discussed and measures for system improvements to check the irregularities were identified and discussed for their implementation.
Inter College Debate competition was organized on 01.11.2017 at Pandu College, Guwahati for creating awareness against corruption amongst the students and youths. Essay writing and Art competitions were organized on 02.11.2017 at Railway Higher Secondary School, Maligaon for creating awareness among the school students.
Prizes and merit certificates were awarded to the best three competitors in debate, essay writing and drawing competition by the N.F.Railway Vigilance Organisation Nukkad Nataks (street play) by railway employees was organized on 03.11.2017 at NF Railway HQ and at NF Railway construction organisation for creating awareness against corruption.
